Photographer Emma McEvoy has temporarily relocated the Namibian desert to residential Melbourne (3 Hertford Street, Fitzroy). The abandoned share house is mere days from demolition, so it's been turned into a pop-up desert and gallery. Sand fills the gutted space and McEvoy’s spectacular photographs from Kolmanskop, Namibia, line the walls. Visit the exhibition titled Sand Castles before it closes on Sunday.
